MANILA, Philippines — Beyond crossing finish lines and shattering personal records, this year's annual Takbo Para sa Katutubo run was all about painting a brighter tomorrow for Filipino children. In a gesture of solidarity and community support, Suncoast Brands joined forces with Colors of Life last April 13, 2024 at UP Diliman, Quezon City.
Imagine a splash of color amidst the sea of runners. As participants took to the race route, Suncoast Brands adorned the course into an immersive experience, together with its brands Lightwater, Vitamin Boost, Natrue, Skinny Mamas, and Emco Musli. One of the main highlights was the vibrant Vitamin Boost inflatable at the start/finish line, which added an extra dimension to the course and sparked important conversations on health and nutrition. Participants fueled their runs with delicious samples and freebies from the Suncoast Brands’ booth. In addition to the onsite offerings, exclusive discounts to Suncoast products were made available to all participants.

With over 800 participants, the 2024 Takbo para sa Katutubo was a resounding success! Proceeds from this charity run will translate into vital support for 250 Bicolano children and 100 kids and families of Project Handog 2023. It was a day that proved that with a little creativity, a lot of heart, and a commitment to community, running can become a powerful force for positive change.
